Seawall Repair
Essentially, we can lift any form of solid concrete slab, but in rare cases, concrete slabs that are badly cracked may be too damaged and difficult to remedy.
Even though gravel areas, blacktop, and pavers sitting in sand cannot be raised, the soil underneath can be stabilized with our Deep Foam Injection process.
In addition to using foam as a superior lifting and stabilizing agent, we also offer products and services to seal and Waterproof Foundations.
What Problems to Look for
Cracks and crumbling could be superficial and simply the signs of weathering, or they could indicate a more serious underlying problem - a lack of foundational stability.
If the soil is eroding beneath the slab, cracks and crumbling may only be the beginning of the issue. Sinking and shifting could be next and a full assessment of the slab is recommended.
Cracks and Crumbling
Pooling water on concrete is not good.
There is likely sinking or shifting beneath that is causing the concrete to hold precipitation and impede drainage.
Since concrete is a porous material, it’s best not to avoid standing water for extended periods of time. Lifting the slab surface to facilitate drainage should help.
Pooling Water
When you see your concrete stairs, driveway, or patio begin to pull away from the foundation, it’s probably not the foundation that’s moving - it’s most likely the underlying base.
This signifies a lack of support beneath and the soil has either shifted or eroded.
It's imperative to lift and stabilize these issues before further damage occurs.
Foundational Pull Away
Concrete problems often seem to come out of nowhere, but usually there are underlying issues that have been happening slowly over time. With concrete being one of the strongest building materials in the world, any significant wear and tear should be cause for concern.
We can help alert you to the most telling signs you may have a concrete issue and to help find an immediate solution before the problem escalates.
